William Nicholas Moraites
William Moraites was one of the pioneers and visionaries that guided AABC to become the world’s largest association exclusively representing professional multidisciplinary bariatric counselors.
His creativity and mastery included information technology, filming, editing, music composition, graphic design, videography, video and music production, advertising, marketing …his expertise was unending.
His brilliance and unbounded talents were only exceeded by his humanity, humility, friendship and so many unsung deeds of kindness.
Simply put, the global stature and reputation that AABC has attained could not have been achieved without his talents and unrelenting work ethic.
Sadly, our devoted friend and colleague “Bill” succumbed to COVID in May of 2021. We are all heartbroken. In his memory and with gratitude AABC has established THE WILLIAM MORAITES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND. This fund will award tuition free scholarships to many new AABC fellows.
