Sheri Wolf, MSSW, LCSW-S, a multi-state Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor from Texas has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science, she was recently credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Ms. Wolf has been a practicing social worker for more than 36 years. She completed her graduate training and education in Social Work at the University of Texas in Arlington.
Currently, she specializes in bariatric counseling and conducts psychosocial evaluation and assessment testing, required for bariatric surgery. In addition, she offers nonsurgical weight loss treatment and interventions for eating disorders.

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led to her training with AABC. AABC awarded her an academic scholarship. Her unique professional training and clinical experience will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
