Rosana Gilles-Lamontagne, Ed.S, MA.Ed, ACS, LPC, a clinical supervisor and licensed professional counselor from Glassboro, N.J, has been awarded Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).
Ms. Gilles-Lamontagne serves as a psychotherapist at the Inspira Behavioral Wellness Center in Glassboro N.J. She is an integral member of the Inspira Health Network bariatric care team and performs the requisite pre-operative candidate assessment testing. In addition, she provides individual counseling for patients post bariatric surgery.
She received her graduate degrees in mental health from Seton Hall University and has more than 15 years of diverse clinical experience, providing individual, group and family therapy for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Her many professional degrees, pursuit of life-long learning, recognition of the obesity pandemic and the need for specialized training in bariatric science led to her fellowship with AABC. Her unique scholarship and commitment to public health will further the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
