Rodney A. Fry, MA, MDiv, MS, LPC, RPT, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in Bariatric Science, he was recently credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC)

Rodney received his BS Degree from Central Baptist College, a Master’s Degree (MDiv) from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also received another Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Brown University. Currently he practices with Natural State Counseling Centers in Arkansas. He provides counseling for groups, individuals, couples, families and children.

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led to his fellowship with AABC. AABC awarded him an academic scholarship. His unique professional training in theology and mental health therapy will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
