Rhonda Breckenridge, LICSW, CBC

Rhonda Breckenridge, LICSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Wenatchee, Washington has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified. Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Currently she serves as a Behavioral Health Therapist for Columbia Valley Community Health in Wenatchee. Her 21 years of clinical experience includes working as a social worker in Adult Protective Services, Child Protective Services, Community Mental Health, and as a Behavioral Health Specialist in integrative care as part of a community-based primary care clinic.

Graduate School: Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio (Clinical Social Work) and Undergrad at Ohio State University (Psychology).

Recognition of the obesity pandemic and the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led to her fellowship with AABC. Because of her commitment to community health AABC awarded her an academic scholarship.  Her professional acumen and clinical experience will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
