Rebecca Luttrell, RD, LD, a Registered and Licensed Clinical Dietitian based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). Following the successful completion of a specialized education and training program in Bariatric Science, she has earned the prestigious credential of Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University, where she then completed her Master of Science in Nutrition as well as a dietetic internship. She as dedicated her career to the bariatric field, beginning at My Bariatric Solutions in Decatur, Texas, counseling surgical and medical weight loss patients. Currently she practices as an online dietitian with Nourish, a global organization employing over 3,000 dietitians and supporting thousands of patients worldwide.

To provide best practices she recognized the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science, and pursued AABC Board Certification. In light of her specialized training and vast clinical experience AABC awarded her with a fellowship scholarship. Her certification as a BCBC will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
