Lyndsie Johnson, MA, LPC

Lyndsie Johnson, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in New Jersey has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science, she was recently credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Lyndsie, received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Rider University and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rowan University. Over the last 14 years, she has practiced in various levels of clinical care including outpatient, in-home settings, IOP, and both in and out hospital patient programs.

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led her to pursue a fellowship with AABC. AABC awarded her an academic scholarship for her excellence in patient care. Her certification as a BCBC as well as professional and clinical training and experience will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
