Juliet Dobson, RD, LD/N is a registered and licensed dietitian based in Sebring, Florida, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). Following completion of specialized education and training in Bariatric Science, she was credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Juliet earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Keiser University in Lakeland, Florida. She currently practices at the AdventHealth Nutritional Wellbeing Center in Sebring, where she provides Medical Nutrition Therapy, Diabetes Self-Management Education, and conducts Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) testing.

As AdventHealth expands its services to better support the bariatric community, Juliet’s certification in bariatric counseling will enable her to provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative nutrition counseling for patients pursuing metabolic and bariatric surgery care.

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led her to pursue certification with AABC. She was awarded an academic scholarship for her clinical excellence and dedication to bariatric care. Her certification as a BCBC will help advance the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
