Hala Jaber, MSc, LD, a Licensed Clinical Dietitian practicing in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After successfully completing specialized education and training in Bariatric Science, she earned the credential of Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Hala earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from Beirut Arab University. She is licensed by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi, and is a member of the Lebanese Order of Dietitians (LOD) and the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN).

Her graduate research, conducted at the American University of Beirut, investigated the therapeutic potential of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of obesity and obesity-related diseases. She has also contributed to the scientific literature as the author and co-author of two peer-reviewed publications in obesity research.

She’s currently practicing as a Clinical Dietitian at London Consulting Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, where she provides evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for patients with obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, renal, and other chronic diseases. She also specializes in pre- and post-bariatric surgery nutrition, weight management, and lifestyle counseling. She has also participated in numerous nutrition awareness initiatives and conferences, reflecting her passion for community health promotion and continuous professional development.

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led her to pursue certification with AABC. She was awarded an academic scholarship for her diverse clinical excellence and dedication to bariatric care.
