Dr. Mirna Nabil, a Medical Doctor from Cairo, Egypt, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science, she was recently credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Dr. Nabil completed her professional medical training at Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. She is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals, the International Association of Style Coaches, the European Society of Psychiatry and Dermatology, the European Sleep Research Society, and the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders.

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led her to pursue a fellowship with AABC. AABC awarded her an academic scholarship for her excellence in bariatric care. Her certification as a BCBC as well as her professional and unique clinical training and experience will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
