Dr. Michael Anthony Arnuco, a Licensed and Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Tri-Cities WA, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). Following completion of specialized education and training in Bariatric Science, he was credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Dr. Arnuco received his Bachelor of Science in nursing degree at Ateneo De Zamboanga University, Philippines and then earned his Doctor in Nursing Degree from Washington State University and licensed through the Board of American Nurses Credentialing Center. He has almost 10 years of clinical experience and is currently practicing at Walkthrough Psychiatry, PLLC, and specializes in comorbid psychiatric disorders related to obesities.

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led him to pursue certification with AABC, where he was awarded an academic scholarship for clinical excellence and dedication to bariatric care. Certification as a BCBC will help advance the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
