Dr. Matthew Meyers, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor from Calabasas, CA, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science, he was recently credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Dr. Meyers earned his doctorate in psychology at the American School of Professional Psychology and is licensed in 8 States: California, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Indiana, and Idaho, and is a National Board-Certified Counselor (NBCC). As a solution-focused therapist, he has more than 22 years of clinical experience

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led to his fellowship with AABC. AABC awarded him an academic scholarship. His extensive professional training and clinical experience will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
