Charity Ghitalla, MA, LPC a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in Bariatric Science, she was recently credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Charity received her BS from Greenville College in Illinois and completed her graduate training in counseling from Missouri Baptist University. Charity has worked in a variety of settings including hospital residential programs with a focus on crisis counseling. Currently, she is a care manager for Evernorth Behavioral Health.

Recognizing the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science led to her fellowship with AABC. Her extensive professional training and clinical experience will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
