Berenice Rosales-Nadel, LMHC-D, is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in New York City, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). Following the successful completion of a specialized education and training program in Bariatric Science, she has earned the credential of Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

She earned her graduate degree from College of Staten Island and spent four years training under Dr. Robins & Associates, gaining hands-on experience in bariatric counseling and guiding clients through the psychological aspects of bariatric surgery.

As the founder of You Can Do It, PLLC, Berenice offers warm, culturally sensitive, and empowering care for both English- and Spanish-speaking communities. With her recent bariatric certification, she expanded the scope of her practice and includes counseling for patients pre and post bariatric surgery. She also has specialized autism spectrum disorders training and conducts neurological diagnostic testing.

To provide best practices, she recognized the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science, and pursued AABC Board Certification. Considering her training and clinical experience AABC awarded her with a fellowship scholarship. Her certification as a BCBC will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
