Aulendrys Rodriquez, LCSW, CBC

Aulendrys Rodriquez, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Paterson, NJ, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship education program in bariatric science, she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Aulendrys Rodriguez has over 18 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings and working with diverse patients, including long-term and brief interventions. The treatment spectrum includes, but is not limited to, the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress, crisis management, and obesity and its biopsychosocial disorders. Currently at Englewood Health in NJ, she specializes in counseling patients that are considering bariatric surgery.

Aulendrys graduated from Lehman College in NY with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. In addition she earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work.

Recognizing her vast experience and stature as a mental health professional, AABC awarded her a fellowship scholarship in their Bariatric Certification and Credentialing Program. Her scholarship, professional acumen and commitment to public health will further the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment and prevention of obesity, and related disorders.
