Clinton Bolton, Ph.D., CBC

has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship training and education program in bariatric science, he was recently credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Dr. Bolton received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, his Master’s from the University of North Carolina and earned his Ph. D at North Carolina State University. In addition to providing mental health counseling, he is a licensed supervisor that provides clinical supervision for Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors.

He specializes in behavioral health and bariatric counseling and for the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, he provides training in best bariatric practices for mental health professionals.

Recognizing Dr. Bolton’s unique training and clinical experience AABC awarded him a fellowship scholarship for their certification program. His commitment to bariatric care and treatment will further the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care and treatment and prevention of obesities and related disorders.

Aseel Abdin, BS, APD, Awarded National Bariatric Board Certification

Aseel Abdin, BS, APD, CBC

Aseel Abdin, BS, APD, a Licensed and Accredited Practicing Dietitian/Nutritionist based in Sydney, Australia has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified. Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Aseel completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at The University of Jordan, in Amman, Jordan and is an Associate Member of the Australian and New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgery society (ANZMOSS).

Currently Aseel is an integral member of the multidisciplinary metabolic and surgery team at the Bariatric Metabolic Institute in Sydney, Australia, where she serves as bariatric and gastrointestinal dietitian, providing individual counseling and education for bariatric and non-bariatric patients.

Recognizing her professional stature, specialized clinical skills and commitment to bariatric care and treatment, AABC awarded her a fellowship scholarship. Her professional accomplishments and clinical experience will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
