Robin Spencer, BS, MS, CBC

Robin Spencer, BS, MS, who specializes in Health Sciences Health Education, from Wingdale, NY, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship training and education program in bariatric science, she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

 

Robin earned her Bachelor and Master Degrees, in Health Sciences Health Education, from Trident University International, in California. In addition, she has completed a Massage Therapy program at Florida Metropolitan University.

Robin has personally experienced a lifetime of all the biopsychosocial insults of obesity and has remarkably been able to overcome that lifetime of suffering. That experience has inspired her passion to help to other bariatric patients find resolution.

Recognizing her personal achievements and professional training. AABC awarded her a fellowship Scholarship in their Bariatric Certification and Credentialing Program. Her commitment too public health and health education will further the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment and prevention of obesity, and related disorders.

Denise Schuster, MA, LPC, Awarded National Bariatric Board Certification

Denise Schuster, MA, LPC, CBC

Denise Schuster, MA, LPC a Licensed Professional Counselor from Brunswick, Georgia, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Ms. Schuster earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. With 37 years of experience, she has worked with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, addiction, trauma and adjustment disorders. Her clinical experience includes outpatient mental health clinics, children’s psychiatric hospital and residential substance abuse facilities. Denise’s client centered treatment modalities include CBT, DBT, REIT.

As a Certified Bariatric Counselor, she is an integral member of the Emerald Island Counseling team that provides bariatric counseling and pre-surgery required clearances for patients considering weight-loss surgery. Emerald Isle Counseling partners with bariatric surgeons to not only assist the patient in completing all preoperative requirements but to aid in best possible outcomes.

Rola Enouz, MS, RD, Awarded Bariatric Board Certification

Rola Enouz, MS, RD, a Clinical Registered Dietician and Nutritionist from Abu Dhabi, UAE has been awarded Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Ms. Enouz is currently an integral member of the multidisciplinary team at London Consulting Medical Center in Abu Dhabi. With more than 10 years of clinical experience in both public and private sectors, she provides public education and nutrition counseling for individuals and families. In addition, she counsels patients, pre and post bariatric surgery.  She also continues to provide public health education on various social medal platforms.

Rola Enouz received her professional training in Dietetics and Nutrition from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2009. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a Senior Fellow of the American Association of Bariatric Counselors.

Linda L. Williams, MSW, LCSWA, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Charlotte, NC has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Linda received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Perdue Global University as well as a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Edinboro University. She is the founder of Free Your Mind Consulting LLC located in Charlotte, North Carolina that provides a safe space for clients to achieve freedom from anything that has prohibited their growth.
